The Inception of Once Lost
Once Lost is the final fruition of years of collecting and designing. I have created many pieces over the years while amassing tons of wonderful little trinkets and materials. With a great achievement coming in Seasonal Collections as of 2008, I thought it only right to honor my work with a proper fitting Name. Thus “Once Lost Jewelry†was born.

Schooling
With an eye focused on the fine arts and graphic design, jewelry took a back burner throughout high school and college. It did however sneak into her life in the form of making wire wrapped and basic gemstone beaded jewelry in her spare time to supply her with some spending money throughout her poor student times. After changing majors from graphic design to 3D fine art a few years into college, her passion for jewelry design became more and more intense. By the end of college, she realized that creating wearable art was bringing her the most joy. Although a joy for fine art that came with the multiple drawing and painting classes is still inside of her, jewelry now occupies most of Michelles life.
Ultimately, everything eventually came full circle. A combined history of her parents and grandparents passions eventually led to Michelles desire to combine her background in jewelry and her passion for hunting down unique antique trinkets into a dream job.
